Do you ever react without thinking? Do you feel like your schedule is spinning out of control?
Our world has taught us to pick up our phones immediately when we get a notification. To hit “reply” immediately when we don’t like a post. And to press the gas pedal the second the light turns green.
Unfortunately, this has translated into how we live. We react without thinking instead of intentionally.
When we are so reactive, we feel out of control and out of character.
This week, I share my own story of feeling reactive. I realized that I wasn’t living the life I’d wanted. I needed to make a change to be more in control.
I needed to lengthen the gap between the stimulus and my response.
I want you to make this change too! Instead of reacting, I want you to learn my two ways to lengthen the gap. You can take control of your own needs, and use my practical tool, “The Deep Breath.”
This will help you become more response-able. You will be able to respond in the way you want and choose!
