"How do I balance connecting more with my family and still keep up with my responsibilities?” | Coaching Session with Kelly
Oct 24, 2021Practical ways to balance your responsibilities while maintaining your relationships.
What if you know your relationships need more time, more connection, or more fun, but you have no idea how to do that without losing sight of the responsibilities that keep those very people afloat?
With so much to do to run a household and such limited time to do so, we can often find our relationships are pushed to the back burner as we try to stay on top of all. the. things.
You are not alone in facing this tension.
This week, I am sharing a coaching session I had with a Progressor named Kelly. As a busy mom with ADHD and children across a wide spectrum of ages (and needs!), Kelly found that her desire to connect more with her children was competing with her needs to support them through systems, to-do’s, and routines.
Instead of being able to be present and have fun with her kids, Kelly found herself in the role of a drill sergeant, barking orders.
Sound familiar??
If you’re ready to create stronger relationships AND still uphold your responsibilities, you can!
From this call with Kelly, you’ll learn how to weed out the shoulds, get centered in on your wants, and create next steps to deprioritize what doesn’t matter so that you can better cultivate the relationships you want.
About a few other things...
Reclaim your creative power and rediscover who you actually are! If you’re ready to come back home to yourself, to be able to say that you know who you are and what matters to you, take my foundation course, “Finding Me.” It’s OK that you’ve lost parts of yourself along the way; but as you learn to anchor back into who you are and align your life to what matters to you, you’ll find that you have more strength, more fulfilment, and more creativity to bring to your important roles and responsibilities.
